
School Uniform
It is school policy that all children wear full uniform, except on P.E. days when school track suit is worn. The uniform consists of grey pinafore/trousers, pale blue shirt/blouse, royal blue cardigan/jumper, blue/grey striped tie. The tracksuit consists of Navy Blue tracksuit pants. Blue Polo shirt and Navy Blue tracksuit sweater with school crest.

Primary School Book Scheme
The Primary School Book Scheme was introduced in 2023. All school books and copies are provided free of charge to pupils.
Free Lunch Scheme
The school meal scheme funds schools to provide hot meals daily to all pupils. In addition fruit and a yoghurt drink is available.

Preschool
We are fortunate to have a Preschool within the school grounds which runs from 9.15 am to 12.15 pm daily. By the time they progress to Junior Infants, Preschool children are familiar with and at ease in the school environment.
After School Club
The school operates an Afterschool service for pupils of infant classes from 2pm to 3pm daily. The club is run by the Killawalla Community Playschool.

Information Technology
The school places great emphasis in ensuring that all pupils are sufficiently skilled in the use of Ipads prior to leaving school. Both classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and laptops.
Music/Drama
Music and Drama are an important part of the school curriculum. Pupils from 1st
class onwards learn to play the tin whistle. All pupils take part in a Christmas and St. Patrick's Day concert.
GAA Coaching
A qualified GAA coach attends the school one day a week for a term and coaches pupils from infants to sixth class in the basics of GAA skills.
Swimming
Children from 1st to 6th class participate in Swimming Lessons during the last term each school year. These classes are organised in conjunction with Westport Leisure Park.
We are a Green School
Scoil Naomh Pádraig has received 5 Green Flags to date. Pupils are actively encouraged to play their part in caring for the environment.
School Tours
Children of all classes are brought on school tour annually. The tours usually take place during the month of June.
Workshop/Demonstrations
We arrange a number of workshop demonstrations for the pupils each year such as Environmental Studies, Nature, Music, Theatre, Art, Crafts and Science.
